How to Search for Articles: Home

This guide will help you learn how to find peer-reviewed articles using the library's databases.

Finding Articles

                                           What are Peer-Reviewed Articles?

At some point during your MCNY career, you will need to find peer-reviewed or scholary articles.

What are peer-reviewed articles?

When a person submits a paper or a study to a journal, the journal editors have the paper evaluated. Experts (peers) in the field will examine the paper to see if it is scholarly, accurate, and that it fits the journal's criteria.

The paper or study then could be accepted or rejected.
