This guide will help you learn how to find peer-reviewed articles using the library's databases.

General Databases

ProQuest
A large multidisciplinary database containing 16,000 titles, including scholarly journals, trade magazines, popular publications, and independent reports.
EBSCOHost
A variety of full text databases ranging from general reference collections to subject-specific databases. Select EBSCOhost Web to search multiple databases at once.

Finding an Article Step-by-Sep

Step 1

Go to the library's database and use the advance search feature.

Step 2

To narrow your search, select Full text articles and click on Scholarly Journals.

You can also adjust the publication year.

Step 3

Select an article that captures your interest.

Step 4

Read the abstract. Determine if the article fits your need.

Step 5

Open the article and enjoy reading.
