Using this Guide

This brief guide is intended to aggregate top-level resources, generally considered authoritative, on the evolving pandemic. It is written in collaboration with MCNY's Emergency Management Program. MCNY librarians are absolutely not an authority on this subject  nor  are we authorities on anything related to health or medicine. We can, however, help you to think critically about the information that you may come across. Below you will find links to local, state, federal and global agencies tasked with matters related to population health. We also include several journalistic sources that are generally reliable. Those, however, must be read critically and it must be understood that even the most well intended journalists get things wrong sometimes.

If you have any concerns about your health, call a medical professional immediately.

While we hope that everyone in the MCNY community and everyone in your worlds stay safe and well, we know that this virus will affect us all. We wish you peace and we believe that good information can only help.

In Solidarity,
