Creating Presentations

Open a Blank Presentation
1. Open the New Presentation window by navigating to the Microsoft Office Button and left-clicking to expand the Office Button’s menu
2. Left-click once on the option for New 
3. The New Presentation window will open
4. To Select a Blank Presentation, left click on the icon labeled “Blank Presentation” and click the Create button on the lower right-hand corner of the New Presentation window.
5. A new, unstyled presentation will open (by default called Presentation1)

Templates

Create a Presentation from a Template
1. Open the New Presentation window by navigating to the Microsoft Office Button and left-clicking to expand the Office Button’s menu
2. Left-click once on the option for New 
3. The New Presentation window will open
4. On the left side of the New Presentation window appears a list of links to different types of templates under the heading “Microsoft Office Online”
5. Hover over the category that best describes the type of presentation you would like to create. For example, to create a party invitation, hover over the link for “Invitations” as illustrated below:


7. Left click once on the template that interests you from the previews (such as Surprise Party Invitation; Balloon Party Invitation, etc.) and left-click the Download button on the lower right-hand side of the New Presentation window.
